The course is relatively flat and paved. It uses streets, sidewalks and the Montpelier pedestrian path. Automobile traffic will be encountered. Review the course map. There will be police, police cars, course monitors and cones to help guide you through the course. You are still responsible for your own safety! The start and finish of the race are on State Street in front of the State House.
Many Port-O-Lets will be available. Be sure to drink plenty of water before the race! Water will ONLY be provided at the finish line. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pre-filled water bottles for pre-race and during the race.
Please try to carpool as it is very busy and the City of Montpelier has limited parking.
Participants may park in the parking lots of any State of Vermont office building along State Street and Taylor Street (at the end of the day on May 16, 2024), unless a space is signed or reserved for a specific reason, participants may also park at Montpelier High School.
Results will be posted on our site immediately, however results will not be final until the beginning of the following week.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams in each category and class (in-person race only). They will be mailed to the winning teams by the end of June.
If you do not receive your award, you must email your team name and members of your team, along with the address to which it is to be mailed to no later than July 31, 2024.
